COVID-19 Update
-Current Department of Defense and Air Force Academy policies require all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask when indoors in all Academy facilities, including the press box, Blue and Silver Club, suites, elevators and restrooms. All individuals who have not been fully vaccinated must also wear masks outdoors at all times while on the installation. Fans who are fully vaccinated and are not required to wear a mask when outdoors. Anyone with a COVID-19 diagnosis within the previous 10 days, or any symptoms suggestive of possible COVID-19, or a recent close contact with an individual known to be positive for COVID-19 should not come to the stadium. These policies will be constantly evaluated and any changes will be communicated.
Series History vs. Colorado
-Historically, the Falcons are 0-6 against the Buffaloes since 1978, including a 0-2 record at USAFA.
-Air Force's most previous matchup with Colorado took place a season ago, as the Falcons were defeated 88-46 in Boulder on November 28.
-A win would mark the first-ever over Colorado in Air Force women's basketball history.
A Season Ago Against CU
-Senior guard Kaelin Immel led the Falcons with 16 points and four assists while also snagging five rebounds. Immel knocked down two from three-pointers and shot perfect from the free throw line (4-4).
-Riley Snyder was a team-high 6-6 from the line. Snyder, who recorded the team's only block against the exceedingly tall Buffs, dropped 14 points including two of the five three-balls on the game.
Ringing in the New Year
-Air Force overcame a 13-point deficit to defeat Denver 79-62 to win its 2021 regular season opener.
-Briana Autrey-Thompson led the Falcons with 26 points, as the Virginian was 10-20 from the field (50%).
-Autrey-Thompson's 26 points tied her single game career-high, a milestone that was previously set against Western Colorado on December 16, 2020.
-Riley Snyder (18 pts), Cierra Winters (12 pts) and Dasha Macmillan (11 pts) also finished in double-figures.
-Winters also led Air Force with eight rebounds and six steals, with Snyder snagging seven boards of her own.
-Freshman Jo Huntimer was given extended playing time on Tuesday and took advantage of the stage.
-Huntimer finished her first collegiate game with two points to go with three assists and a pair of steals over 25 minutes.
After Colorado
-Following Sunday's game, Air Force will hit the road for the first time this season, traveling to the University of San Diego for a Wednesday night affair with the Toreros. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 pm MT
