FRESNO – Air Force dropped a 76-58 Mountain West contest to Fresno State, Wednesday evening in the Save Mart Center. The Falcons drop to 4-12 on the season with a 2-9 mark in the league while the Bulldogs improved to 11-6 with a 9-3 mark in the league.
Fresno State got out to an early lead and never looked back, holding the scoring advantage for nearly 40 minutes. The Falcons battled to within five points of the lead in the third quarter but the Bulldogs were able fend off the offensive and seal the deal over Air Force in the first of a two-game series.
