Falcon Lacrosse Takes on Jacksonville this Saturday

The Falcons hit the road to take on Jacksonville in SOCON action on Saturday, April 10. Action is slated for noon ET at D.B. Milne Field.

LAST TIME AGAINST JACKSONVILLE
Air Force doubled up Southern Conference foe Jacksonville, 14-7, Saturday afternoon (Mar. 30, 2019) at Falcon Stadium. The Falcons dominated Jacksonville in the first half, 12-5, outscoring the Dolphins 5-2 in the first quarter and 7-3 in the second. At the final whistle, the Falcons outshot the Dolphins, 45-31, and picked up 20 more ground balls (43-23).

Air Force finished with its most dominating performance at the face off X all season, winning 21-of-24 attempts. Trent Harper won 20-of-23 (.870) at X, setting a personal season-high mark in face off wins, while also picking up a team season-high 10 ground balls. Brandon Jones was a defensive workhorse, forcing a personal best and team season-high five caused turnovers while picking up eight ground balls. The Falcon defense caused 10-of-21 Jacksonville turnovers. Braden Host won his seventh game in the Falcons' cage, making seven saves on the game while picking up four ground balls.
