
Falcons place 19 on AHA all-academic team

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Nineteen Air Force hockey players were named to the Atlantic Hockey all-academic team, as announced today by the league. The 19 selections ties the school record set in 2017-18.
The AHA all-academic team honors those student-athletes who posted a GPA of 3.0 or above for both semesters of the 2020-21 academic year.
The 19 Falcons named to the team are: graduated seniors Erik Anderson (management major), Marshall Bowery (management), Shawn Knowlton (management), Zach LaRocque (management), Jake Levin (engineering chemistry), Max Harper (management), Alex Mehnert (management) and Zach Mirageas (economics). Rising juniors Blake Bride (undeclared), Brandon Koch (operations research), Andrew Kruse (economics), Bennett Norlin (economics), Austin Park (undeclared), Ty Pochipinski (management), Willie Reim (undeclared), Dalton Weigel (legal studies), Sam Brennan (mechanical engineering), Thomas Daskas (undeclared) and Luke Robinson (operations research).
Harper was named to the team for the fourth season while Levin was honored for the third time. Anderson, Bowery, Knowlton, Koch, Pochipinski and Weigel were named for the second time. LaRocque, Mehnert, Mirageas, Bride, Kruse, Norlin, Park, Reim, Brennan, Daskas and Robinson all made the team for the first time.
