-Air Force snapped a six-game losing streak on Wednesday, as Doyle Gehring notched his fifth save of the season to close out the 4-3 win.
-Gabriel Garcia paced the Falcons lineup, finishing 3-5 with a solo home run.
-Garcia's solo shot, a line drive homer to the opposite field in the 3rd inning, was his second of the season.
-Jake Greiving, the other Falcon with multiple hits, was 2-5 with a run scored.
-Aerik Joe's two-out RBI double down the right field line broke a 3-3 tie in 7th, as the Air Force shortstop ended his day 1-4.

-After some R&R over the past week, sophomore Paul Skenes returned the Air Force rotation, keeping the Falcons within striking distance for his five innings on the mound. The Golden Spikes Watchlist notable allowed only three hits to go with two runs, two walks, and six strikeouts.
GAME TWO
-The Falcons surrendered at least one run in six of eight innings, including two six-run Rebel frames in Saturday's 17-10 loss.
-Gabriel Garcia was 3-4 with 3 RBI, as the senior drove in two with a single in the 2nd and managed a sacrifice fly in the 8th.
-Jay Thomason was 2-5, going deep twice to produce his first two collegiate long balls.
