THE SERIES VS. MARQUETTE
Air Force and MU will be meeting for the third time in program history. The Falcons have yet to beat the Golden Eagles, trailing the all-time series 0-2. Both meetings were decided by a one-goal differential. (03/02/13, USAFA, CO, L, 6-8; 03/28/17, Milwaukee, WI, L, 6-7)
COMMON OPPONENTS
Both AF and MU have played and lost to Jacksonville; the Falcons lost 15-9, and the Golden Eagles lost 14-10. MU is 2-2 against ASUN opponents, beating Bellarmine (9-8, 3OT) and Detroit Mercy (13-7), while losing to Utah (12-11) and Robert Morris (10-7).
LAST TIME THEY PLAYED
A fourth period rally by Marquette lifted the Golden Eagles to a 7-6 at the Valley Fields, Milwaukee, Wis. Air Force allowed the Golden Eagles three unanswered goals in the fourth period to seal the deal on a late comeback. Nick Hruby notched his fourth hat trick of the season in the offensive effort.
DOING NUMBERS
Air Force senior Brenden Crouse leads the Falcons with 30 goals and six assists for 36 points this season. He put up two goals at No. 1 Virginia in the season opener. He followed up with a career-best six goals at No. 12 Denver. He is on an 12-game goal streak dating back to his four-goal showing against VMI last season (Apr. 17). He put up a stellar eight points (4G, 4A) in the routing of Marist on March 5, and carried the momentum to Bryant where he scored three goals for his fourth hat trick this season. At Mercer (Mar. 19), he notched his fifth hat trick and second six-goal game of the season.
Falcon attackman Brandon Dodd showed out against Marist, scoring a season-best six goals with an assist. The big guy (6'3", 220) is one of Air Force's most prolific facilitators, both in goals (19) and assists (13). He put up three goals and assists at Bryant, marking his third-straight hat trick, fourth of the season. Against Mercer (Mar. 19), he put up a career-best five assists.

Air Force junior goalie Jason Rose averages 12.2 saves per games so far this season. He put up a personal best 21 saves against Bryant (March 12), besting his earlier season-high 18 against No. 12 Denver (Feb. 12). He tallied 14 saves against back-to-back champs No. 1 Virginia, in the season opener. He boasts a .525 save percentage on a four-game win streak heading into the weekend.
D-UP
Falcon linchpin defender Quentin Carlile, a preseason All-ASUN selection, leads the squad with 18 caused turnovers and 26 ground balls. Carlile, the team captain, is assisted by Air Force sophomore standouts Chris Bardak and James Chastain. Bardak has 11 CTs to his credit, and when the trio is on the field together, they are good for more than a .700 clear percentage.
AT THE X
Falcon co-team captain Brian Michael has taken the majority of attempts this season, winning 66-of-1146 (.452). He came out on top in three of the last four meetings, winning 11-of-19 against Marist, and an impressive 8-of-11 against Canisius. He has 24 ground balls to his credit. At Mercer, Michael snagged up a career high 12 ground balls while going 14-25 in face offs at center X.
