AF SWEEPS ASUN WEEKLY AWARDS
The Air Force duo of Brandon Dodd and Jason Rose swept the ASUN Conference Men's Lacrosse Weekly honors, the league office announced on Tuesday. Dodd earned the first Player of the Week honor of his career after posting a career-best seven goals against Cleveland State. Teammate Rose was named the Defensive Player of the week for the third time this season after he recorded 13 saves for the Falcons in their 12-8 victory against the Vikings.
ETCHING A LEGACY
Junior attack man Brandon Dodd crested the 50-point milestone following his eight-point game against Cleveland State (Apr. 16). Dodd has 56 points this season which ranks him fifth in the program record book for single-season points. His 39 goals this year ranks him second in the program record books, tracking Mike Crampton ('14) who holds the program standard with 48 goals in one season.
TRACKING THE 50-BURGER
Senior middie Brenden Crouse has 48 points this season. He is on a 16-game point streak dating back to April 17, 2021. Crouse's 35 goals this season ties him for seventh in the single season record books. If Crouse tallies two more points, it would be the first time AF finished a season with two players with 50 points or more since joining Div. I lacrosse.
