Falcons Return Home to Host Ralph Lindeman Invitational
1/18/2023 11:03:00 AM | Track and Field
The Air Force track and field team returns to action – and the Academy – this week when it hosts the Ralph Lindeman Invitational on Jan. 19-21. The multi-event athletes open the three-day home meet with the heptathlon and pentathlon on Thursday, while the rest of the squad takes to the Cadet Field House Indoor Track on Friday and Saturday.
HONORING A LEGEND
This week's Ralph Lindeman Invitational is in honor of the Falcons' former head coach who passed away unexpectedly last spring during his 33rd season at the Academy. From the very first day he stepped onto the Air Force track in 1989, the Falcons benefited from his leadership and love of coaching to become one of the most recognized intercollegiate programs in the Air Force Academy Athletic Department. Additional information on Coach Lindeman's incredible coaching career can be found on Page 3 of this release.
