
Women’s tennis picks up trio of wins against Navy in day one at All-Academy Challenge

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Facing off against Navy in the opening day at the All-Academy Challenge, three of the Air Force women's team picked up their first wins of the fall season against the Midshipmen.
Senior Isabella Flodin downed Navy's Mancy Pal, 6-3, 6-1 for her first win of 2023-24. Entering Friday's match, Pal was 5-2 with wins in two of her last three matches.
Freshman Amy Park, seeking the first win of her collegiate career, earned a 6-1, 6-3 win over Carly Mew.
Junior Andrea Le defeated Julia Lee, 6-4, 6-2 to notch her first win of the year and her first career victory against a service academy opponent.
In doubles competition, the Falcons fell on all three courts, but Flodin/Le and Alexis Odom/Nadia Kojonroj both took their sets to a tiebreak.

"I was impressed with our team's fight yesterday. We got better and will bring the same level of fight against Georgetown and Army."
