Falcons Head to California for Two Meets

The Air Force track and field team returns to California this weekend for another pair of prestigious competitions. After serving as a long-time destination for the program's distance runners, the Falcons are sending a full complement of event groups to the Stanford Invitational on March 31-April 1, while several Falcons will also compete at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in San Francisco those two days.
MEET INFORMATION
The Mike Fanelli Track Classic will be held at Cox Stadium on the San Francisco State University campus, while the Stanford Invitational will be held at Cobb Track and Angell Field. Both meets will be broadcast live on FloTrack, while live results will be available via Red Cap Timing (Mike Fanelli Track Classic) and Record Timing (Stanford Invitational). SCHEDULING UPDATE
Air Force will not host the Front Range Open next Saturday (April 8), as originally scheduled. Instead, the Falcons will travel to Greeley, Colo., to compete at the Tom Benich Invitational.
AIR FORCE IN THE RANKINGS
Three Falcons are ranked among the nation's Top 50 after their first competitions of the outdoor season. Cameron Harris is ranked 29th in the 110-meter hurdles following a debut of 14.01a in the 110-meter hurdles at the Spank Blasing Invitational, while Hayden Bullock (No. 43, 178'7") and Joe Nizich (No. 49, 209'3") are nationally ranked in the discus and javelin throws, respectively, after their season-opening weekend at the Aztec Invitational.
