
Three Falcons earn Academic All-District Honors

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Three Air Force hockey players earned College Sports Communicators academic all-district at-large honors. Senior Brandon Koch, along with juniors Sam Brennan and Luke Robinson were all honored and will now be on the ballot for Academic All-America honors.
Koch, who will graduate on June 1, carries a 3.83 grade point average while majoring in operations research. The senior defenseman from Hastings, Minn., tied as the top scoring defenseman on the team with 24 points in 36 games this past season. A two-time all-conference selection, he played in 121 career games and had 77 points, 13th-most in school history for a defenseman. Koch has been on the Dean's List every semester and is a two-time ACHA Scholar-Athlete.
Brennan carries a 3.92 GPA as a computer science major. The junior defenseman from Brighton, Mich., had 11 points in 22 games this season. He was selected as the AHA Defensive Player of the Month (December) and has been named AHA Defensive Player of the Week three times. Brennan has been on the Dean's List every semester and on the Ace's (4.00) list twice. Has been on the Superintendent's List six times for excellence in academic, military and physical education.
Robinson has a 3.94 GPA with a major in operations research. The junior defenseman from Nashville, Tenn., had a team-high 43 blocked shots in 32 games. An assistant captain for the 2022-23 season, he has been on the Dean's List every semester, on the Ace's List (4.00 GPA) twice and has a 4.00 GPA in his major. He was one of eight cadets selected for the Summer Language Immersion program in France during the summer of 2022 earning credits toward his French minor.
All three also shared the Jim Bowman Award as the team's top scholar athlete this season.
