Air Force Falls 5-2 At Creighton

Air Force men's tennis dropped a 5-2 contest at Creighton Saturday night at the Hanscom Tennis Courts in Omaha, Neb.

The Falcons were led by sophomore Phillip Deaton and Jack Brown, who won their singles matches at No. 1 and No. 5.

Creighton opened with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles for the points.

Air Force tied it up at 1-1 as Deaton won at No. 1 over Matthew Lanahan in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.

Omaha then won the next three singles matches, at No. 4, 3 and 2 to clinch.

Brown won for the Falcons at No. 5 over Ethan Neil 7-6, 4-6, 6-1.

Air Force returns to action Feb. 3 for its home-opener against Weber State.
