On Jan. 17, the Falcons fell 81-67 to CSU at Moby Arena. In the contest, junior Madison Smith's career-best 31 points proved not enough to overcome, as CSU's McKenna Hofschild went for 37 points of her own, tying her career mark and posting the highest individual scoring figure in the Mountain West this season.

In the Falcons' preceding home contest against San Diego State on Jan. 3, Perry once again reset her career best, earning 28 in a 71-63 overtime victory over the Aztecs. Perry scored eight in the extra session against the Aztecs, paving the way for the Falcons' win.
Perry's 27 against Weber State (Dec. 16) was the Falcons' highest scoring individual performance since Kamri Heath earned 27 in Air Force's 2022-23 win over Navy (90-50, Nov. 11, 2022). Perry then followed up that performance by earning 28 in an overtime win over San Diego State (Jan. 3).
With 512 career points under her belt, Perry is currently on pace to become Air Force's 19th all-time career 1000-point scorer.

At Colorado State (Jan. 17) Madison Smith earned 31 points on 14-20 shooting and 3-6 from three, marking a career-best for the junior and the highest scoring performance for a Falcon since Riley Snyder put up 34 at New Mexico on Feb. 24, 2020. 31 points at CSU is just the fourth 30-point-or-better performance for a Falcon in the past ten years.

At Nevada (Jan. 10), O'Hollaren earned 18 points behind 6-10 from the field and and a 4-6 showing from three., including an eight-point performance in the first quarter of the game, proving critical to the Falcons' 75-71 win over the Wolfpack.
In Air Force's 71-63 overtime win over San Diego State (Jan. 3), freshman Jordyn Devaughn contributed 11 points on 3-4 shooting from three.
Devaughn led the way in Air Force (7-5, 0-0 MW) scoring, earning a career-high 16 points at Clemson on Dec. 19. Fellow newcomer Keelie O'Hollaren followed up with 14 on 5-12 shooting and 4-8 from three-point range. Air Force finished the game with its second-best three-point percentage to this point of the season, shooting .387 while making a season-best 12 baskets from distance. An even .500 (28-56) from the field also marks a season-high in field goal percentage.
O'Hollaren's 15 points against Weber State (Dec. 16) were complimented by a 3-6 performance from three-point range, paving the way for the Falcons' 70-58 victory behind a season-best eight made threes.
Jayda McNabb earned the first double-double of her collegiate career, going for 13 points and 12 rebounds (team season high) in the Falcons' 61-56 win over UCCS (Dec. 5). Tuesday evening marked McNabb's second outing to score in double digits and her third with ten or more rebounds.

Last Time Out:
The Air Force women's basketball team, after going down big in the first half against New Mexico, managed to surge back into the contest in the early stages of the third quarter but could not find sustained success, falling to the Lobos 66-51 on Saturday afternoon in Clune Arena.
The Falcons managed to turn UNM over 23 times to just Air Force's six – generating 19 points in the process. Yet the Lobos found their way to the Falcon basket, scoring off the dribble and creating 34 points in the paint.
From the tip, Air Force struggled to find shots, shooting 3-18 from the field and 0-6 from three in the first quarter. The Lobos worked their way up to an 11-2 start before freshman Alexis Cortez was found out along the right baseline for a jumper to break the spell. A spurt of production from Milahnie Perry (19 pts) and Cortez gave some life to the Falcon offense down the final minutes of the first quarter, but Air Force was outscored 14-3 from 2:15 in the first through the opening minutes of the second. The Falcons trailed by as much as 18 before halftime, but managed to take advantage of a Lobo cold spell and got out to a 7-2 run to close the half down 34-20.
Air Force made a rapid comeback to open the second half, outscoring New Mexico 16-3. A dialed-up Falcon defense gave the Lobos troubles, forcing UNM into seven turnovers for the quarter – three of which were committed consecutively in a one-minute span, with two of those happening in the UNM backcourt. Through the first four minutes of the third quarter, the Falcons generated nine points off of New Mexico turnovers to trail by just a point. From there, UNM grounded itself, putting up a 12-0 Lobo run to push a 13-point lead.
In the fourth, the Falcons managed to shoot 50 percent from three, including a top-of-the-arc triple for Perry to beat the buzzer early on, but failed to gain ground on the Lobos for the remainder of the contest.

The Falcons trailed by as much as 18 before halftime, but managed to take advantage of a Lobo cold spell and got out to a 7-2 run to close the half down 34-20.
Air Force made a rapid comeback to open the second half, outscoring New Mexico 16-3. A dialed-up Falcon defense gave the Lobos troubles, forcing UNM into seven turnovers for the quarter – three of which were committed consecutively in a one-minute span, with two of those happening in the UNM backcourt. Through the first four minutes of the third quarter, the Falcons generated nine points off of New Mexico turnovers to trail by just a point. From there, UNM grounded itself, putting up a 12-0 Lobo run to push a 13-point lead.
In the fourth, the Falcons managed to shoot 50 percent from three, including a top-of-the-arc triple for Perry to beat the buzzer early on, but failed to gain ground on the Lobos for the remainder of the contest.
