Scarlet Fetterolf Paces Women at Colorado College

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Backed by a top-10 finish from sophomore Scarlet Fetterolf, members of the Air Force women's cross country team finished fourth at the Ted Castaneda Classic this morning (Oct. 5) in Colorado Springs.
Fetterolf crossed the finish line in a 6K time of 22:50.9 to place 10th in the 69-runner event, while the freshmen duo of Jasleen Sidhu and Carrigan Eberly added top-20 finishes by placing 17th (23:25.6) and 19th (23:33.1), respectively. Sophomores Camryn Bodine and Rachel Fereday rounded out the Falcons' scoring lineup, as Bodine placed 34th with a time of 24:23.2 and Fereday finished 35th after posting a time of 24:23.6. Freshman Kaylee Jenish also raced this morning, placing 48th with a time of 25:51.7.
The men sent four individuals to Monument Valley Park, with sophomores Josh Razo and Roman Thomas claiming two of the top-three spots in the 100-runner event. Razo clocked an 8K time of 25:27.0 to finish second, while Thomas placed third with a time of 25:31.70. Air Force accounted for three of the top-eight finishers, as fellow sophomore Patrick Lawson added an eighth-place time of 26:01.1. Classmate Benjamine Davenport rounded out the quartet with a 13th-place time of 26:25.6.
The Falcons return to Monument Valley Park next week, when they race at the Colorado Springs XC Open.
