FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- With two members of the women's distance squad toeing the line at John McDonnell Field, the Air Force track and field team wrapped up competition at the West Preliminary of the NCAA Outdoor Championships this evening (May 25) in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Senior Rachel Crytser capped her collegiate career with a 27th-place finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase, as she crossed the finish line in a time of 10:44.10, while junior Halle Hamilton recorded a 5000-meter time of 16:41.06 to finish 30th.
India Jones also represented the Air Force women at the NCAA West Prelim this week, but the sophomore was unable to finish the 10,000-meter run on Thursday (May 23) night.
