Air Force announces 2024 water polo schedule

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force water polo team announced its 2024 schedule, highlighted by nine home games.
The Falcons open the season with a pair of road tournaments in the Bruno Classic, held Sept. 7-8 in Providence, RI, and the Titan Invitational, held Sept. 14-15 in Fullerton, Calif.
Air Force plays its home-opener on Thursday, Sept. 19, hosting Service Academy rival Navy. The two teams will again play for the Freedom Vase. The Falcons then host the Rare Air Challenge on Sept. 21-22.
September is capped with three road games, Sept. 27 at Long Beach State, Sept. 28 at UCLA and later at Chapman.
The Falcons open October (4-5), at the Gary Troyer Invite in Claremont/Pomona, Calif., followed by a road game Oct. 6 at UC San Diego.
Air Force opens its second season in the West Coast Conference on Oct. 20, hosting Pepperdine. The Falcons then hit the road Oct. 25 for a game at Stanford, then participate in the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament, held Oct. 26-27 in Santa Clara. Fresno Pacific, Pomona and Fordham are the slated opponents at the Fraser Memorial Tourney.
The Falcons play WCC games the remainder of the way, with three home games in row to start November. Air Force hosts Cal Baptist on Nov. 1, Pacific on Nov. 3 and Loyola Marymount on Nov. 7. The regular season closes out Nov. 15 at Santa Clara and Nov. 17 at San Jose State.
The WCC Championships is Nov. 22-24 in Stockton, Calif.
