Eamonn Kearney Joins Air Force Basketball Staff

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Eamonn Kearney joins the Air Force men's basketball staff as an assistant coach for the 2024-25 season, announced today by head coach Joe Scott. Kearney comes to the Academy from Princeton, where he served as video coordinator for the Tigers.
Kearney was part of the Princeton program that went 24-5 in 2023-24, earning the Ivy League regular season title, an NIT postseason berth, and recognition of three All-Ivy League players.
In his role with the Tigers, Kearney assisted with offensive game planning, opponent scouting and daily program operations. He was also responsible for film organization for recruiting, player development, and offensive strategy.
Prior to Princeton, Kearney spent five years as an assistant coach at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. In that role, he was responsible for all recruiting, game planning, and all on court and operational program duties.
During his time at Kenyon, Kearney helped the program to its best non-conference record since 1996, and recruited and developed 5 All-Conference players.
Kearney graduated from Drew University with a Bachelor's in English in 2018. He was two-year player and team captain before becoming a student-assistant his last two years.
A native of Toms River, New Jersey, Kearney played basketball for his dad Mike Kearney at Monsignor Donovan High School.
