Scouting the Crusaders
Holy Cross is 5-5-1 overall this season and 5-1-1 and in first place (17 points) in Atlantic Hockey. The Crusaders are unbeaten in their last five games. Last weekend, Holy Cross swept Niagara, 5-1 and 6-2 in Worcester. Jack Stockfish and Michael Abgrall are tied for the team lead with six goals each. Stockfish has 10 points while Abgrall has nine. Three different goalies have started games this season. Junior Connor MacKenzie has started four of the last five games and leads the team with a 2.19 GAA and a .925 saves percentage. He stopped 15 of 16 in the win over Niagara, Nov. 7. Freshman Danick Leroux started game two against Niagara and stopped 40 of 42 in the 6-2 win.
