The men, who enter the regional meet ranked No. 28 in the NCAA, will be represented by Junior Allen, Ehtan Ashley, Zach Ayers, Matthew Edwards, Patrick Lawson, Jayden Nats, Dominykas Remeikis, and Saketh Rudraraju, while the women's travel roster includes Liliane Aittama, Cam Bodine, Carrigan Eberly, Ricky Fetterolf, Scarlet Fetterolf, Anna Harden, Ella Johnson, and India Jones.
A LOOK AT THE WOMEN'S FIELD
Two of the top eight teams in the women's national rankings are from the Mountain Region, including top-ranked BYU. The rest of the regional field is scheduled to include No. 8 New Mexico, No. 17 Colorado, No. 21 Northern Arizona, and No. 22 Utah, as well as runners from Air Force, Colorado State, Idaho State, Montana State, Nevada, New Mexico State, Northern Colorado, Southern Utah, Texas Tech, Utah State, Utah Valley, UTEP, Weber State, and Wyoming.
SCOUTING THE MEN'S LINEUP
The men's field includes four of the nation's top 10 teams, with No. 3 New Mexico, No. 6 Colorado, No. 8 Northern Arizona, and No. 10 BYU all representing the Mountain Region. The rest of the field includes Air Force, which is also mentioned in the national rankings (No. 28), Colorado State, Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, New Mexico State, Texas Tech, Utah State, Utah Valley, UTEP, Weber State, and Wyoming.
HOW IT WORKS
The regional meet serves as the primary feeder into the upcoming NCAA Cross Country Championships. The top two teams from each of the nine regional sites – West, Mountain, Midwest, South Central, Great Lakes, South, Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast – as well as the top four individuals not on an advancing team, will receive an automatic berth into the national meet, while the remaining teams are chosen by the NCAA Division I Cross Country Committee on an at-large basis from across the country.
THE LAST COURSE
The 2025 season wraps up next Saturday (Nov. 22), when the top teams in the nation converge on the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Mo., for the NCAA Cross Country Championships. The official list of qualifiers will be announced during the NCAA Selection Show this Saturday (Nov. 15) on NCAA.com.
