Falcons at a Glance:
Air Force scoring is led by senior Milahnie Perry (18.1) and juniors Jordyn Devaughn and Jayda McNabb (8.0). The Falcons currently rank second in the Mountain West in offensive rebounding (12.8 rpg) and third in steals per game (10.2). Perry's 18.1 scoring average (48th nationally) paces all MW competitors to date.
Last Time Out:
The Air Force women's basketball team got the final word in a heated, three-game saga against Utah Valley, downing the Wolverines, 58-50, on Dec. 8 in Orem, Utah.
The win comes on the heels of a pair of contests in 2024-25 in which Air Force and UVU split results inside Clune Arena. The Falcons won the inaugural non-conference contest, followed by a six-point Falcon defeat in the opening round of the Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT).
Perry's 24 points (8-17 FG, 3-4 3FG) led all scoring for the sixth consecutive game; Freshman Bhret Clay added 11 points to the Air Force tally behind a 3-6 performance from three-point range; McNabb earned nine points while contributing a game-high 11 rebounds, earning double-digit boards for the fourth time in five games.
The Mortar Between the Bricks:
Jayda McNabb has been a foundational piece of the Falcons' game throughout her years at the Academy. As a sophomore, McNabb averaged 7.9 points per game in 2024-25 and earned six double doubles, leading the Falcons in rebounding while finishing ranked second in the Mountain West on the offensive glass.
This season, McNabb currently leads the MW and ranks fifth nationally in offensive rebounding (4.8). In the Mountain West, McNabb falls in at third in total rebounding (8.4) and blocked shots per game (1.00).
McNabb has scored two double-doubles to date and is averaging 8.0 points per contest while shooting a team-best .519 from the field.
A Boost from the Bench:
Freshman pair Bhret Clay and junior Jordyn Devaughn bolster the Falcons' bench unit in 2025-26. Clay, in her first nine career games, leads Air Force in three-point production, shooting .441 to date on 15-34 from beyond the arc. Devaughn, Air Force's second-highest scorer to open the season, enters December with four double-digit outings to open the year.
Air Force sports positive scoring margins from the bench in all five of its wins in 2025-26.
All-Time Watch:
Sporting 1,405 career points after scoring a game-high 24 at Utah Valley, Perry is now 29 points removed from claiming sixth all time and third in Air Force's Division I history career scoring (Raimee Beck, 2007-11). The climb toward status continues on- Perry's 145 points for the season has the senior just 334 points shy of the program career scoring record with 21 regular season games to go.
In consecutive seasons, Perry scored the third and fourth most points ever by a Falcon in a single season – figures which rank first and second in Air Force's Division I history (1996-current).
All-Time Versus The Cowgirls/RMAC:
Air Force is 6-0 all time against the Cowgirls of NMHU, with five of those contests taking place in Clune Arena. The Falcons have won all six games by a total margin of 29 points. Of the six, Air Force has played one game in Las Vegas N.M. in 1978.
Against current members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), The Falcons sport a 182-37 all-time record with the bulk of contests taking place prior to Air Force becoming a Division I institution in the summer of 1996. Since then, Air Force is 21-3 against RMAC opponents.
