
Air Force Baseball to Open Mountain West Play Against Washington State

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., - The Falcons (5-12) prepare to open Mountain West Conference play against Washington State (5-12) from Friday March 14- Sunday March 16. Games one and two will be played at Rawlings Field in Pueblo, Colo., due to inclement weather at USAFA. Game three is set to be played on Air Force's home turf at Erdle Field, but is subject to change.

With the anticipation of great crowds during the 2025 Air Force baseball season, fans are encouraged to bring a folding chair to enjoy the game from the third base line, and other areas around Erdle Field, when the first base bleachers reach capacity.
Base Access
The U.S. Air Force Academy processes to access the installation continue to affect athletic events. While the installation remains open, if you do not have a DoD ID card you will need to obtain a pass to enter the base. Ticket holders wishing to attend can request a base pass by using this link for each game. Once you register, you will receive a message with a QR code on your phone to present at the gate when entering the Academy. Fans will present game tickets when entering each venue. All ticketed/credentialed attendees will need to enter through the North Gate only to get to the Cadet Field House.

-The first and only meeting between the two programs took place on March 2, 2007, and ended with a loss for Air Force, 3-0.
-The game was a part of the S.P.O.R.T. Banana Belt Classic in Pullman, Wash.
-For the 2025 season, Washington State joined the Mountain West as an affiliate member.

-Rogers is tied for the Air Force lead of 16 Ks, with John Mitchell.
-The senior has taken four starts, tied for the team-high, and marks a record of 0-2.
- At California Baptist, Rogers threw 4.2 innings and allow a season-high eight runs off 10 hits, while striking out one Lancer.
-The walk-off 9-8 win against Army saw Rogers go four full innings with four strikeouts and four earned runs off two hits allowed.

-Against South Dakota State, Garrish went 2-for-3 with a trio of RBIs and one run scored after he recorded a double and a home run.
-Garrish has been issued the most walks for the Falcons, with 14 in 16 games.
Grand Slam Man
-Ben Niednagel, an Air Force baseball veteran, has earned his start at shortstop in all 17 games of the 2025 season, so far.
-At the plate, the senior is batting .228 with 13 hits and 10 RBIs.
-He has marked 20 total bases and is 1-2 on stolen bags.
-Niednagel logged an impressive game at the plate against South Dakota State by hitting a grand slam for his first career home run and a triple for a career-high five RBIs.
