U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – For the second time in as many years, Air Force women's gymnast Maggie Slife has been selected as one of 12 collegiate gymnasts in the nation to participate as an all-around competitor at an NCAA regional. Slife now sets her sights on Salt Lake City, as she prepares to take on the Utah Regional, set for April 2-6 inside Utah's Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Slife stands as the first Falcon gymnast to represent the Academy at consecutive regionals since Air Force went 12-straight from 2008-19 and is also the first Falcon to go consecutively since Anna Salamone was selected in both 2018 and 2019 seasons.
Slife built a standalone resume in the Mountain West in 2025, earning conference Gymnast and Floor Specialist of the Year accolades after garnering both the highest all-around (39.325) and floor (9.880) NQS among conference competitors this season. Additionally, she earned All-Mountain West recognition, landing first-team honors in the all-around and on both vault and floor and was a MW second-team honoree on bars.
Per the NCAA, the top all-around competitor and top event specialist from round two at each regional who is not already competing on a team advancing to nationals will advance to the national championships, set for Apr. 17 and 19th at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
