Falcons Head to California for Three Meets

The Air Force track and field team heads to Southern California this week for four days of high-level competition. The Falcons will be in Azusa for the Bryan Clay Invitational on April 16-19, while splitting time in Long Beach at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate (April 17) and the Beach Invitational (April 18-19).
MEET INFORMATION | BRYAN CLAY INVITATIONAL
The Bryan Clay Invitational, which will run from April 16-19, will be held at Cougar Stadium on the campus of Azusa Pacific University. Live results will be available via FinishedResults.com, while FloTrack will broadcast the meet through its subscription service.
MEET INFORMATION | PACIFIC COAST INTERCOLLEGIATE & BEACH INVITATIONAL
The Pacific Coast Intercollegiate (April 17) and Beach Invitational (April 18-19) will both be held at Jack Rose Track on the Long Beach Stat University campus in Long Beach. Ticket begin at $13, while a Clear Bag Policy is in effect for all spectators. Live results will be available for both meets at FinishedResults.com.
AIR FORCE IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Backed by Top 10 marks from Texas Tanner and Brayden Richards, three Falcons are listed among the Top 25 in the latest national standings. Tanner is ranked fourth in the hammer throw with his Academy-Record performance of 73.43 meters, while Richards is listed sixth following his 7659-point debut in the decathlon. Tanner also holds a No. 11 ranking in the discus with the 59.59-meter performance in his last NCAA-sanction meet, while Zach Ayers rounded out the Falcons' April 14 rankings with a 22nd-place time of 13:36.08 in the 5000-meter run.
MEN MOVE INTO TOP 40 IN THE NATION
The men are ranked No. 37 in the April 15 edition of the USTFCCCA National Track and Field Rating Index.
