
Distance Runners Return to Stanford for Payton Jordan Invitational

A small contingent of the Air Force distance squad will travel to Stanford, Calif., on Friday (April 25) to compete in the 10,000-meter run at the Payton Jordan Invitational.

MEET INFORMATION
The Payton Jordan Invitational, which began in 1996, will be held at Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field on Friday, April 25. Live results can be provided via Record Timing. Tickets, which start at $15, can be purchased online at Tickets.GoStanford.com, and spectators must adhere to the school's Clear Bag Policy.
AIR FORCE IN THE RANKINGS
Backed by a pair of top-eight rankings from Texas Tanner, the Falcons hold three Top 10 marks in the latest national rankings. Tanner is ranked fourth in the hammer throw (75.83 meters) and eighth in the discus throw (62.45 meters), while Brayden Richards is ranked eighth in the decathlon with 7659 points. On the women's side, Morgan Glaser leads the Falcons with a No. 29 ranking in the high jump (1.79 meters).
MEN CONTINUE TO CLIMB IN NATIONAL STANDINGS
The men moved up four more spots to No. 33 in the latest USTFCCCA National Track and Field Rating Index (April 23).

The full Air Force squad returns to action next week, when it splits for the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson and the Doug Max Invitational in Fort Collins.
