USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – A program-record eight Air Force cadet-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators' Division I Academic All-District Track & Field and Cross Country Team, the CSC announced this morning (June 24).
Senior Jason Renze, junior India Jones and classmate Max Sannes all captured the second academic all-district honor of their career, with Renze having previously claimed the honor in 2023 and the junior duo of Jones and Sannes both repeating the award from 2024. Junior Jevonte Eaves and a sophomore quartet of Anna Harden, Karli Neff, Dominykas Remeikis, and Ben Sklodowski all captured their first nod as an academic all-district selection.
The CSC Academic All-District Men's and Women's Track & Field and Cross Country Team honors student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. To be considered academic all-district, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher, and finish within the top-50 of the regional cross country championships or rank within the region's top 50 in at least one event during either the indoor or outdoor track and field season.
With the addition of these eight Academic All-District honorees, the Falcons' track and field program has seen 42 athletes combine for 54 district honors from CSC (formerly CoSIDA) since the program began in 2003 – and has had at least one Academic All-District selection in 19 of the last 20 years.
