SPOKANE, Wash., - The Falcons are rested and coming off a bye week to face Gonzaga at Luger Field on Thursday September 4, at 7 p.m. PT/8 p.m. MT.

All-Time Versus the Bulldogs:
Air Force has played four total games against Gonzaga and sits at an all-time record of 1-2-1, extending back to the first matchup between the two programs in 2002, the only win for the Falcons, 2-1. The most recent meeting between the programs was a 0-0 draw at Cadet Soccer Stadium on September 16, 2018.
Last Time Out:
Before their bye week, the Falcons played a tough match at Big 10 opponent, Rutgers, and managed a 0-0 draw on Sunday August 24.
The Falcons combined for 11 shots, five on goal, and six clutch saves from Trishelle Lopez.
Possession was back and forth throughout the first half and the Falcons managed four shots with one on goal from Lauren Steinlage at the 8' mark. In goal, Lopez added two more saves to take her career-high to six saves in a single match and with the help of her defense, was able to shutout the Scarlet Knights.

The Falcons have posted a goal in three games so far this season, from Peyton Ferrell, Eleanor Musgrove, and Caeli Sherman and have found 28 opportunities for shots on goal. On goal, Kendall Rippley leads with five shots, while Lauren Steinlage has managed four, followed by Sherman and Annika Jost with three apiece.
Holding the Line:
Defensively, Jordan Dillingham has totaled a team-high 317 minutes playing an aggressive backline along with the pair of team captains, Samantha Sharp and Raine Komata.

Freshman, Trishelle Lopez, has claimed the starting spot for three Falcon games this season to total 270 minutes of play. The Cape Coral, Fla., native has managed 12 saves for a .750 save percentage. She posted a season-best performance against Rutgers, collecting her first collegiate shutout, a career-high six saves, and USAFA's Cadet Athlete of the Week honors. She is currently tied for seventh in the Mountain West with four saves per game.
