USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis released its 2026 spring schedule, announced today by head coach Evan Urbina. The 21-game schedule features 10 home duals, including non-conference home matches against BYU and Denver. In addition, Air Force will play both Army and Navy in neutral-site matches this season.
The Falcons open Jan. 24, hosting Montana State. The Falcons then hit the road for a weekend in Nebraska, taking Creighton on Jan. 30 and Nebraska Feb. 1.
The following weekend has the team in Florida, taking on Stetson and Army. The Falcons play at Stetson Feb. 12 and then face Army on Feb. 14 at the USTA College MatchDay at the USTA National Center in Orlando.
The Falcons then return home to host four straight matches, beginning with a weekend matchup on Feb. 20 against Gardner Webb and Feb. 22 against Northern Arizona. The following weekend, the Falcons host BYU on Feb. 28 and Denver on March 1.
The middle of March has the Falcons taking back-to-back west coast trips for five straight on the road. The weekend of March 13-14 has Air Force in Irvine, Calif., taking on Navy on March 13 and UC Irvine March 14. The match will be a home trip for Irvine native senior AJ Moore.
The following weekend of Spring Break, the Falcons head to San Diego to take on UC San Diego on March 22 and open Mountain West play at San Diego State on March 23. The trip closes out at Grand Canyon on March 25.
The Falcons close out the Spring Break week with conference home matches against Boise State on March 27 and Utah State on March 29.
Air Force opens April with a home match against Oral Roberts on April 3. Following a road trip to UNLV on April 9, the Falcons host its final two home matches, taking on Nevada on April 11 and North Dakota on April 12. The regular season concludes April 17 at New Mexico.
The MW Men's Tennis Championships run April 22-24 in Las Vegas.
"This year's schedule is unique in that we are playing both Army and Navy in the same season," Urbina said. "Our team will be looking forward to those matches all year, and we will be working hard to prepare to be our best on those days. At home, we want to highlight Power 4 opponent BYU as our "Pack the House" match and in-state rival Denver on the same weekend. In late March we'll begin conference play, and we're excited to pursue our goal of a Mountain West Conference tournament title. We'd love to have the Falcon faithful out as much as possible this year. You couldn't cheer for a better group of guys. I'm thrilled with our team's culture and chemistry, and thankful to be a part of this team. Go Falcons!"
