
Tom Leggett Earns Second-Straight WCC Men’s Water Polo Player of the Week Honor

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Junior Tom Leggett was named the KAP7 West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo Player of the Week for games played the week of Sept. 1-7, announced today by the conference office. This is the second-straight week of earning the award and the fifth of his career.
Leggett (Santa Barbara, Calif,) had another big weekend, tallying 34 points on 22 goals and 12 assists, as he led the Falcons to a 5-0 record at the Rare Air Invititational. Leggett continues to lead the nation in both goals and assists.
The utility led the Falcons in scoring in all five games he played in. His high for goals was six against McKendree and his high for points was eight against both McKendree and Whittier. In his first goal scored against Augustana, Leggett reached 300 career goals, becoming just the second player in program history to achieve the feat.
Air Force returns to action next weekend, Sept. 12-13, at the Titan Invite in Fullerton, Calif.
