A shorthanded Air Force women's basketball team was relentless in its pursuit of a win on Saturday afternoon and trailed by a single point at halftime against New Mexico but saw its chances at victory slip away in the second half, falling to the Lobos, 74-57.
Junior Keelie O'Hollaren led Falcon scoring with 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-5 3FG, 2-2 FT, 5 REB); Senior Emily Adams followed up scoring a career-high 13 points (6-13 FG, 3 REB, 3 AST, 2 STL). Juniors Jayda McNabb and Alexis Cortez each contributed seven points, with McNabb adding nine rebounds (game high) and four assists.
