Track & Field Splits for Husky Classic, Jarvis Scott Invitational

With its first split-squad schedule of the year, the Air Force track and field team will look to 'divide and conquer' with a pair of meets this weekend [Feb. 13-14]. The distance team will travel to Seattle for the Husky Classic, while the rest of the squad will head to Lubbock, Texas, for the Jarvis Scott Invitational.
MEET INFORMATION: HUSKY CLASSIC
The Husky Classic will be held at Washington's Dempsey Indoor in Seattle on Feb. 13-14. Tickets are $10 per day and can be purchased at the ticket booth. The meet will be streamed on RunnerSpace and live results will be available via Pacific Northwest Track & Field Officials [direct links to video and stats can be found on the Falcons' schedule page].

MEN CONTINUE TO HOLD TOP 30 FOR SECOND-STRAIGHT WEEK
The men are ranked No. 28 in the Feb. 10 edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Rating Index Checkpoint – marking the 10th time since 2000 that Air Force has been listed in the Top 30.
AIR FORCE IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Texas Tanner is ranked among the nation's top three in both the weight throw and shot put. His 24.18-meter distance in the weight throw is No. 2 in the NCAA this season, while his 19.83-meter throw in the shot put is No. 3.
SQUAD GOALS
The Falcons have five event groups with Top 20 rankings in the Feb. 10 installment of the USTFCCCA #EventSquad Rankings – which are determined by the cumulative season-best marks from a team's top-four athletes in the national descending order list – as the men hold top-20 marks in the weight throw [No. 16, 75.31 meters], shot put [No. 18, 66.51 meters], pole vault [No. 19, 19.61 meters] and mile [No. 20, 16:05.56].
MOUNTAIN WEST CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS NOW ON SALE
Tickets for the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships are now on sale at TheMW.com [a direct link is available on the Falcons' schedule page]. The championships will make its debut at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Nevada over the Feb. 26-28 weekend.

The Falcons return to action on Feb. 26-28, when they travel to Reno for the 2026 Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships. It will mark the first time that the Wolfpack have hosted the conference meet at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
