Last Time Out:
Air Force Women's Basketball, after trailing early, surged past San Jose State in the second half, scoring a 77-61 win and the season sweep over the Spartans on Saturday afternoon in Clune Arena.
Falcon senior Milahnie Perry finished with a game high 20 points, earning 14 at the free throw line on 16 attempts – figures which both marked career highs for Perry while also setting season benchmarks for all players in the Mountain West in 2025-26. Saturday's finish lifted Perry to third all-time in career scoring, surpassing Air Force alumna Stacey Goss (1982-86) for the distinction. Rounding out top performers for the Falcons on Saturday were juniors Keelie O'Hollaren and Jayda McNabb, who both scored 18 and 14 points respectively while both adding seven rebounds apiece.
Air Force (12-13, 6-9 MW) led San Jose State (3-23, 1-14 MW) in field goals made (21), three-point attempts (27), free throws made (28, season high) and attempted (34), rebounds (36), assists (12), steals (12), points from turnovers (29, season high), second-chance points (six) and fast-break points (15). 28 made free throws for Air Force represents the most by a Mountain West team in 2025-26 in a single game.
With the win, the Falcons notched their fourth victory in five games, a third-straight win over San Jose State and fifth in the last six contests between the two programs. Air Force improved to 14-15 all time against SJSU and 7-6 in series home games.
Adams' Upswing:
In her last eight games, senior Emily Adams has averaged 12.1 points, marking the most productive stretch of her Air Force career. Adams' seven 10-plus point games in 2025-26 marks the most double-digit finishes in a single season for the soon-to-be Falcon graduate. On Feb. 4 in Air Force's win against Utah State, Adams finished with a 23-point, 12 rebound double-double. The senior's marquis finish against the Aggies represented her first career double-double, first 20-point finish and also career highs both in rebounds (12) and field goals made in a single game (eight).
The Key Difference:
In seven of its last eight wins, Air Force has won the rebounding game, scoring victories over Wright State (Nov. 29), Utah Valley (Dec. 6), New Mexico Highlands (Dec. 13), Nevada (Dec. 21), San Jose State (Jan. 10), Fresno State (Jan. 31), Utah State (Feb. 4) ans a pair over San Jose State (Jan. 10, Feb.14).
The Mortar Between the Bricks:
Jayda McNabb has been a steadying force for the Falcons throughout her years at the Academy. As a sophomore, McNabb averaged 7.9 points per game in 2024-25 and earned six double doubles, leading the Falcons in rebounding while finishing ranked second in the Mountain West on the offensive glass.
This season, McNabb leads the MW and currently ranks seventh nationally in offensive rebounding (4.2 rpg). As a result, Air Force has led or tied opponents in second-chance points in 15 games. McNabb is also third in the league in total boards (7.9 rpg) and second among Mountain West players in steals per game (2.25).
With 619 career rebounds, McNabb is two away from overtaking Raimee Beck (2007-11) for 10th all time and fifth in Air Force's Division I history.
The Summit Is In Sight:
Now sporting 1,663 career points, Perry third all-time in career scoring in Air Force's Feb. 14 win over San Jose State, surpassing Falcon alumna Stacey Goss (1982-86) for the distinction. Perry's 403 points for the season sets the senior 44 points away from claiming second (Michelle Johnson, 1,706) and 76 shy of the all-time career scoring record with five regular season games remaining.
*Represents Air Force Division I record.
In consecutive seasons, Perry scored the third and fourth most points ever by a Falcon in a single year – figures which rank first and second for a player in Air Force's Division I history (1996-current).
Mile-High Trends:

9-2 when holding opponents to 60 points or less (4-0 at home);
8-2 when landing more three-point baskets (4-1 at home).
