Nine-seed Air Force Women's Basketball bested No. 5 Boise State in a wire-to-wire semifinal round of the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championship, securing the Falcons' first-ever postseason championship bid on Monday evening in Las Vegas.
With the win, the No. 9 Falcons are now the lowest-ever seeded program to earn a spot in the Mountain West championship game. Air Force is the first nine-seed to make a semifinal game since 2008 and is now the first to go 3-0 in the MW Tournament to earn a spot in the title match.

Junior Keelie O'Hollaren added 15 points on a 4-8 outing from three-point range. Senior Emily Adams and junior Alexis Cortez each contributed nine points apiece.

The Falcons are 20-56 in the all-time series against Colorado State. No matter - Prior to defeating Wyoming, SDSU and Boise State in the tournament, Air Force was a combined 26-132 (.165) all-time against the field of opponents standing before them.

Perry, competing tomorrow in her fourth game in consecutive days, has averaged exactly 26.0 points Air Force's first three postseason games.
Adams' Upswing:
In her last 16 games, senior Emily Adams averaged 13.1 points, marking the most productive stretch of her Air Force career. Adams' 13 double-digit games in 2025-26 marks the most in a single season for the soon-to-be Falcon graduate.
On Feb. 4 in Air Force's win against Utah State, Adams finished with a 23-point, 12 rebound double-double. The senior's marquis finish against the Aggies represented her first career double-double, first 20-point finish and also career highs both in rebounds (12) and field goals made in a single game (eight). Adams proved key in Air Force's upset over No. 1 San Diego State, scoring 20 points behind a 10-11 outing from the free throw line.

The Mortar Between the Bricks:
Jayda McNabb has been a steadying force for the Falcons throughout her years at the Academy. As a sophomore, McNabb averaged 7.9 points per game in 2024-25 and earned six double doubles, leading the Falcons in rebounding while finishing ranked second in the Mountain West on the offensive glass.
This season, McNabb, the newly-minted MW Defensive Player of the Year, led the conference and currently ranks 14th nationally in offensive rebounding (4.0 rpg). As a result, Air Force has led or tied opponents in second-chance points in 22 games this season. McNabb is currently third in the league in total boards (7.5 rpg) and second among Mountain West players in steals per game (2.09) while averaging 8.2 points per contest.
Sporting 668 career rebounds, McNabb now sits at 9th all time and fourth in Air Force's Division I history in the category.
2025-26 All-MW Honors:
Three Falcons were recognized on the 2025-26 All-Mountain West postseason awards list. Air Force's haul of postseason honors was highlighted by junior Jayda McNabb's selection as Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year – Air Force's first nod to the award since Cierra Winters earned the distinction at the
close of the 2021-22 season and just the program's second-ever.
Jayda McNabb – MW Defensive Player of the Year | MW All-Defensive Selection:
McNabb finished the Mountain West regular season ranked second in steals per game (2.20) and led Air Force in takeaways throughout the 2025-26 campaign. McNabb, who had multiple steals in 11 MW games and three or more in eight games this season, paced an Air Force regiment which closed its regular season leading the league in turnover margin (+3.97) and third in the conference in steals per game (8.93).
McNabb consistently proved elite on the offensive glass this season, leading the MW and ranking as high as second in the nation in offensive rebounding. McNabb currently falls in at 10th nationally in offensive rebounds per game and is the first player in Mountain West history (men's or women's) to have at least 120 offensive boards and 60 steals in the same season. McNabb also closed out Mountain West play fifth in the league in blocked shots per game (0.87).
Milahnie Perry – All-Mountain West Selection:
Senior Falcon Milahnie Perry was named an All-Mountain West honoree, marking Air Force's third selection in the last four seasons and ninth All-MW award in program history. Perry becomes the second Falcon ever to secure multiple career All-MW honors after being previously named to the award in her sophomore season. Ending conference play scoring a league-best 17.14 ppg, Perry posted double-digit scoring in 13 conference games this season, scoring 20 or more in 10 games total and in six of Air Force's last 10.
At home versus Colorado State, Perry posted 31 points against the Rams – the most scored by a Mountain West player this season. The senior went 8-8 from the free throw line in a 76-57 win at San Jose State (Jan. 10), earning the second-highest perfect finish from the line in Mountain West play this season. In the game, Perry additionally led Air Force to posting team-high marks in both categories across the Mountain West in 2025-26. In a 77-61 home win over the Spartans on Feb. 14, Perry went 14-16 from the free throw line, marking a single-game best in the conference in both made free throws and attempts this year.
Currently sitting at 1,818 career points, Perry stands as the highest career scorer in Air Force's history – A record obtained in her final regular season home game in Clune Arena against San Diego State on March 3.
Bhret Clay – MW All-Freshman Selection:
Freshman Bhret Clay was named to the MW All-Freshman team, representing the third Falcon all-freshman picked in the last four seasons and seventh total since the inception of the award in 2013-14.
Playing in all 30 regular season games for the Falcons this year and earning a start in 14, Clay totaled .352 from three-point range. Clay shot .400 or better from three-point range in six Mountain West Conference games, in which Air Force won three. Additionally, the Falcon newcomer totaled 93 regular-season rebounds
(3.1 rpg), earning five or more in three games.

On her own Senior Day, Perry surpassed Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Michelle Johnson (1977-81) to become the highest career scoring player in Air Force history. field goal attempts (1,706).
