
Falcons Close MW Championships in Fourth Place

BOISE, Idaho – On Saturday evening, Air Force Women's Gymnastics closed the 2026 regular season earning a fourth-place, 195.750 in the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Gymnastics Championships at ExtraMile Arena in Boise, Idaho.
The evening was highlighted by the selection of Alyssa Bigler as all-around champion, marking her first career Mountain West title. The sophomore earned a podium on both balance beam and vault, finishing in second and third place respectively on both events.
Opening the evening on beam, the Falcons collected a 48.925. Bigler scored a 9.925, ultimately finishing in second place while tying her career high and scoring top marks of any gymnast in the opening rotation. Senior Gabi Hartley landed a 9.800, earning her third this season.
On floor, Air Force scored a 48.925. Standing Mountain West Gymnast of the Year Maggie Slife paced Air Force in the event, scoring a 9.850 and ending the night in fourth place. All-MW honorees Bigler and Kylee Greene landed a pair of 9.800s, marking Greene's seventh-straight 9.800 or better score in 2026 and Bigler's fourth.
Air Force finished on vault with a 48.650. Bigler's 9.825 was good for a third-place finish and the top vault score of the night for the Falcons. A 9.725 for both Greene and freshman Caroline Walker followed suit.
Air Force finished strong on uneven bars, scoring a meet-high 49.250, earning the fourth-highest score in Falcon gymnastics history. Slife and sophomore Anna Kristianson both earned a 9.875, with Kristianson smashing her career mark. Greene ended her evening with a 9.850, matching both career and season marks for the upcoming Falcon graduate. Both Hartley and junior Chelsea Boyer hit a 9.825, with both gymnasts also tying career bests and Boyer notching her third-straight 9.825 and fourth this season.
"The team hung strong throughout the night and finished strong," said Mountain West Coach of the Year Jennifer Green. "And we are ready for NCAA Regionals!"
