Falcons Set to Conclude Training Trip at Jim Bush Legends Invitational

Members of the Air Force track and field team wrap up their spring break training trip at the Jim Bush Legends Invitational in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 28. It is the Falcons' first LA-based meet since 2017.

MEET INFORMATION
The Jim Bush Legends Invitational will take place at Drake Stadium on the UCLA campus on Saturday, March 28, although the javelin and hammer events will take place prior to the Bob Larden Distance Carnival on Friday, March 27. Admission is free, while live results will be available via Finished Results.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
9:30 a.m.: Men's High Jump, followed by Women's High Jump; 10:00 a.m.: Women's Discus Throw, followed by Women's Shot Put; 10:00 a.m.: Men's Shot Put, followed by Men's Discus Throw; 11:00 a.m.: Women's Pole Vault, followed by Men's Pole Vault; 11:00 a.m.: 4x100-Meter Relay, followed by 110-/100-Meter Hurdles; 12:00 p.m.: Men's Triple Jump, followed by Men's Long Jump; 12:00 p.m.: Women's Triple Jump, followed by Women's Long Jump; 12:05 p.m.: 400-Meter Dash, followed by 100-Meter Dash, 800-Meter Run, 400-Meter Hurdles, 200-Meter Dash, 1500-Meter Run, 4x400-Meter Relay [men compete first in all running events]
AIR FORCE IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Headlined by NCAA Top 5 rankings from Morgan Glaser and Jettason Rose, four Falcons are listed among the nation's top 15 in the early weeks of the 2026 season. Glaser is currently ranked second in the high jump behind a clearance of 1.81 meters, while Rose is listed fourth in the 200-meter dash [20.45a] and has an additional top 10 ranking in the 100-meter dash [10.24a, seventh]. Cody Kelley and Evan Keefe are also listed among the nation's elite, as they enter the week with No. 15 rankings in the steeplechase [9:27.51a] and discus throw [56.10 meters], respectively.
FALCONS HOLD TOP 20 RANKING IN POST-INDOOR PROGRAM OF THE YEAR STANDINGS
03-24-26 | The men are listed at No. 18 in the post-indoor edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Program of the Year Rankings, which were released on March 24. Making its third appearance on the USTFCCCA post-indoor update since the award was created in 2013-14, Air Force is one of just 21 men's teams in the NCAA to earn scoring finishes at both the cross country and indoor championship events.
AIR FORCE TRIO NAMED MW ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
03-24-26 | The Falcons opened the outdoor season with three weekly awards from the Mountain West, as Jettason Rose was named the MW Men's Track Athlete of the Week, Morgan Glaser was honored as the MW Women's Freshman of the Week and Cadee Alder earned the MW Women's Freshman of the Week award.
WHAT'S ON DECK
The Falcons return to Colorado next weekend, when they head to Boulder for the annual Jerry Quiller Classic on April 3-4.
