FRESHMAN (2010): Competed in every event for the Falcons...was a member of the balance beam lineup for all 13 competitions...scored a career-best 9.750 in the regular season finale against Denver...helped the Falcons to their highest team score in six years at that meet...competed on the vault in 12 meets...recorded a career-best 9.650 on that event during the Falcons[apos] meet at Denver...participated on the floor exercise during seven of the first eight meets, tallying a personal-high of 9.275 against UC Davis...competed on the uneven bars and all-around in four meets...scored a season-high 9.150 at the Texas Woman[apos]s University Quad...also set a career-best all-around score of 36.700 at that meet.

PERSONAL: Full name is Tara Jeanne Harris...daughter of Kenneth Harris and Valerie Holdt...has two older brothers, Paul and Daniel...majoring in operations research...also earning a minor in Spanish...named to the Dean[apos]s List and Athletic Director[apos]s List...favorite event is the vault, because 'it is the best feeling in the world when you stick a vault while the whole crowd is watching and cheering for you'...modeled during childhood...active in community service...created a gymnastics program for underprivileged children at a low-income apartment complex...'it was an amazing feeling to be able to share with kids what I had spent 10 years of my life doing'...hobbies include snowboarding, baking, shopping and hiking...spent the summer completing jump and combat survival training...member of Cadet Squadron 30.
