JUNIOR YEAR | 2021: Competed on the pommel horse in every meet, including the NCAA National Qualifier…tallied a season-high 13.200 against California…that was the second-highest mark on the team in 2021…also surpassed the 13-point mark during the Rocky Mountain Open and All-Academy Championships…member of the still rings and parallel bars lineup twice...named to the MPSF All-Academic Team...earned second-team CGA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2020: USAG All-American (pommel horse)...competed on the pommel horse and parallel bars during all six meets of the shortened season...tallied a career-best score of 13.500 to earn a top-five finish at the All-Academy Championships (fifth)...debuted on the program’s all-time standings with that score (20th)...scored a personal-best 12.600 one the pommel horse during the Falcons’ home finale with Stanford...competed on the still rings (13.050) and vault (13.800) at the All-Academy Championships...named to the MPSF All-Academic Team.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2019: Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL | CLUB TEAM: Lake May High School...graduated Cum Laude...competed at the club level for Gymnastics USA...coached by John Hallett...finished fourth on the parallel bars and sixth on the pommel horse at the national meet....Academic All-American.
PERSONAL: Son of Scott Pett and Alice Everett...is an only child...majoring in physics...future plans include becoming an astronaut...enjoys creating art...favorite event is the parallel bars, because “I enjoy how demanding it can be, technically”...member of Cadet Squadron 11.
