JUNIOR (2011): Mountain West Conference champion in the 400-meter hurdles...all-conference honoree...clocked a career-best time of 51.25 at that meet to win the Falcons[apos] first-ever MWC title in that event...that time is tied for the third-fastest in Academy history and a Junior Class Record...also earned all-conference relay honors as a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished third at the outdoor championships...ran the third leg of the team that clocked the seventh-fastest time in Academy history (3:10.88) at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships...won the conference preliminary heat of the 400-meter hurdles...competed in the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA West Preliminary (52.85, 31st)...also competed in the 400-meter hurdles at the USATF Outdoor National Championships...placed 21st in the preliminary round (53.22)...won the 400-meter hurdles (52.79) and competed on the winning 4x400-meter relay (3:15.57) at the Front Range Classic...also competed on the 4x400-meter relay team that won the CSU-Pueblo Invitational and ran on the 4x100-meter relay team that scored for the Falcons at the conference meet (fourth)...clocked a career-best time of 8.16 in the 60-meter hurdles during the indoor season...recorded that time during a fifth-place performance at the Nebraska adidas Invitational...was the runner-up in that event at the Air Force All-Comers Meet (8.20)...scored for the Falcons in that event at the MWC Indoor Championships...placed fourth in 8.19...was the top collegiate finisher at the Air Force All-Comers Meet (8.20, second overall)...competed on two runner-up 4x400-meter relays during the indoor season...earned the team[apos]s Track Athlete of the Week during the indoor season, sharing it with the men[apos]s mile relay team...received the Paul Gensic Comeback Award.
SOPHOMORE (2010): All-conference honoree in the 110-meter hurdles...clocked a time of 14.60 to finish third at the MWC Championships...member of the 4x400-meter relay team that claimed all-conference honors with a third-place finish (3:12.57)...also placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles...posted a career-best time of 51.48 in that event at the conference championships...that time is the fourth-fastest in Academy history...qualified to the first round of the NCAA Outdoor Championships in both the 110-meter and 400-meter hurdles...ranked 30th regionally in the 400-meter hurdles and 45th in the 110-meter hurdles, entering the First Round...won the 400-meter hurdles at the George Mason Invitational and Front Range Classic...clocked a meet record time of 52.13 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Front Range Classic...finished second in the 110-meter hurdles (14.86) at the Military Championships...led the team in both hurdles events...posted a career-best 110-meter time of 14.49 at the Beach Invitational...received the team[apos]s Track Athlete of the Week award twice during the outdoor season
FRESHMAN (2009): Shared the program[apos]s Newcomer of the Year award...all-conference selection...placed third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.79...that time was the second-fastest on the team...also earned all-conference honors as a member of the third-place 4x100-meter relay team...the quartet[apos]s time of 41.03 was a season high and tied for the 10th-fastest time in Academy history...also ran a leg of the season[apos]s fastest 4x400-meter relay (3:15.86)...clocked a season-best time of 54.22 (second best time on the team) in the 400-meter dash at the conference championships...clocked a season-best time of 8.45 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Air Force Invitational...that time was third-fastest on the team...scored for the Falcons in that event (eighth) at the conference championships...was a member of the of the 4x400-meter relay team that clocked the team[apos]s best time of the season (3:17.77) at the MWC meet.
HIGH SCHOOL: New Bremen High School...two-time Ohio Division 3 state champion in 2008...won titles in the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles...recorded a career-best time of 38.49 in the 300-meter hurdles...as a senior, clocked a season-high time of 14.37 in the 110-meter hurdles.
PERSONAL: Nickname is 'Captain Apollo Tiger-Blood III'...majoring in civil engineering...future plans include becoming a civil engineer in the Air Force, inventing a billion-dollar concept and retiring young...three-time member of the '500 Club' for earning a perfect score on the PFT...served as Wing Parking Officer, First Sergeant and Class Representative ...got engaged over the summer...also 'received my ring, ran at NCAA prelims, ran at USATF Nationals, learned to fly planes, held Carrie Underwood[apos]s hand (twice), spent a week on Lake Michigan, went cliff diving and whipped some basics into shape as the Athletic Officer'...hobbies include 'big-game hunting, cricket, baking exotic foods, traveling the Mediterranean, reading inspirational biographies, trading online, marksmanship, collecting Mayan artifacts, motivational speaking, flying my private jet, skeleton bobsled, taking long rides on my Harley, painting murals and mission trips to sub-Sahara Africa'...member of Cadet Squadron 03.
