2006: Recorded a season-best javelin throw of 142[apos]10' at the Stanford Invitational...qualified for the NCAA Regionals with that throw...that mark was the second-best distance on the team...finished 21st at the NCAA Regional Championships...was a part of Air Force[apos]s top-four sweep at the Colorado Invitational...selected as captain for the 2007 season
2005: Recorded a career-best javelin throw of 149[apos]10' at the Jack Christiansen Invitational to take over fourth in the program[apos]s all-time record book...won the Jack Christiansen Invitational by over a foot with the toss...earned the team[apos]s Field Athlete of the Week award following the meet...throw was the second-best on the team...also won the Falcon Open with a toss of 140[apos]2'...tallied a pair of ninth-place finishes at the Willie Williams Classic (132[apos]1') and the Brutus Hamilton Invitational (136[apos]4')...qualified for the NCAA Midwest Regionals...placed 21st at the regional meet with a throw of 129[apos]2'
2004: Named the program[apos]s Laura Piper [apos]Ironman[apos] Award...threw a career-long javelin of 148[apos]4' at the NCAA Regional Championships...throw is fourth on the program[apos]s all-time list...named Field Athlete of the Week at the Tom Benich Classic after winning the javelin... earned Newcomer of the Week honors following a first-place throw of 147[apos]3' at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational...finished fourth at the MWC Outdoor Championships in the javelin...finished ninth at the NCAA regional meet with a throw of 148[apos]4'...also led the team with a 5[apos]1' high jump mark during the indoor season
HIGH SCHOOL: 2002 Montana State AA javelin champion...four-year letterwinner in track...competed at the state championships in both the javelin and high jump all four years...also lettered two years in volleyball
PERSONAL: Daughter of Larry and Ruby Holliday and Carl and Christine Cain...has two brothers, Don and Brady...named to the Dean[apos]s List and the Athletic Director[apos]s List...hobbies include snowboarding, volunteering, dancing, hiking, camping and running...a civil engineering major...future plans include becoming a CE officer...three-time academic all-MWC team member...served as Athletic Officer for cadet squadron...member of the FCA leadership team...earned Academic All-America honors by the U.S. Track Coaches Association as a sophomore.
