JUNIOR YEAR | 2012-13: All-conference selection in the javelin throw for the second straight year...finished third at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a toss of 208[apos]0'...recorded a season-best distance of 211[apos]10' to take third at the Arizona State Invitational...won the javelin at the Jerry Quiller Classic (205[apos]6') and Air Force Triangular (206[apos]11')...earned 'Standout' distinction from the team following the win at Colorado...also claimed a second-place finish at the Air Force Relays (206[apos]9')...competed at the NCAA national semifinals for the third consecutive year, finishing 28th with a distance of 204[apos]1'.
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2011-12: All-conference honoree in the javelin throw...placed third in that event (199[apos]9') at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships...recorded a career-best distance of 216[apos]11' to win the Air Force Relays...that distance is ranked sixth on the program[apos]s all-time list...competed in the NCAA national semifinals...finished 38th at that meet with a distance of 189[apos]11'...earned a top-10 finish in the javelin (eighth, 196[apos]9') at the Mt. SAC Relays.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2010-11: Shared the team[apos]s Newcomer of the Year award...won the javelin throw in back-to-back weeks (UC Irvine Spring Break Invitational, Stanford Invitational) to open the season...improved the program[apos]s Freshman Class Record five times during the UC Irvine Meet...was the top collegiate finisher at that meet with a throw of 213[apos]1'...that throw is ranked sixth on the program[apos]s all-time list...earned the team[apos]s Newcomer of the Week award after the UC Irvine Spring Break Invitational...also won the javelin during the CSU-Pueblo Invitational (208[apos]8') and Jack Christiansen Invitational (189[apos]11')...finished 22nd in the NCAA national semifinals with a toss of 205[apos]9'...competed in the heptathlon during the indoor season...posted a personal-best tally of 4,151 points at the New Mexico Classic...won the heptathlon shot put during that meet with a career-best toss of 40[apos]3½'...also posted career-best marks in the pole vault (11[apos]1¾'), 1000-meter run (3:03.66) and 60-meter dash (7.49) at that meet...recorded a personal-best high jump clearance of 5[apos]8' at the Robert Shine Invitational...also ran a leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished second at that meet...recorded two career-best marks at the Don Barrett Duals (19[apos]10¾' long jump, 8.91 60-meter hurdles).
HIGH SCHOOL: Douglas High School...placed fourth in the javelin throw at the 2009 Oregon 4A state championship meet...school and conference record holder in the javelin throw...that mark is ranked as the 25th-best javelin mark in Oregon high school history...served as captain of the track team...also a member of the football, soccer and bowling teams...served as team captain for all three...earned first-team all-league honors as a kicker as a senior...second-team all-league selection in soccer as a sophomore and junior...held a 3.86 GPA...graduated within the top 10-percent of class.
