A four-year letterwinner at the University of New Mexico and former coach at Colorado Juniors, Reist brings a knowledgeable background to the program, having also served on staff at her alma mater. She will oversee the logistics and day-to-day administrative duties for the Falcons, while serving as the team’s video exchange coordinator for the conference.

Prior to joining Colorado Juniors, she spent the 2015-18 seasons as the director of operations at New Mexico, while also serving as a volunteer assistant during her first year.
A native of Granby, Colo., Reist graduated from New Mexico in 2015 with a bachelor’s in interpersonal communication and earned a master’s degree in physical education, with a concentration in sports administration, from the school in 2017. As a middle blocker for the Lobos’ volleyball team, Reist was a team captain and three-time academic all-conference selection. Ranking eighth in the Mountain West as a freshman with a .306 hitting performance, she finished her career ranked sixth in UNM history with a .291 average and holds the New Mexico record for aces in a match, with eight.
