Air Force (9-9-2, 7-5-2 AHC) travels to Army West Point (5-10-5, 3-8-5 AHC) for a two-game series, Jan. 15-16. Friday's game starts at 7:05 pm ET while Saturday's game starts at 6:05 pm ET. Air Force is tied for fourth place in the league with 14 points while Army is tied for ninth with 11 points.
Radio/Internet/TV
Every regular-season and playoff game (except the game on Jan. 16) will be broadcast in Colorado Springs on Xtra Sports 1300 and on the internet at www.GoAirForceFalcons.com. The Jan. 16 game will be broadcast on AM 740 KVOR. Jay Ritchie will call the play-by-play while Dave Toller will provide color analysis. Pregame show begins 30 minutes before faceoff each day.
Saturday's game will be televised by Time Warner Cable in New York.
Radio Station Change
The Jan. 16th game (4:05 pm MT) against Army will be broadcast on AM 740 KVOR. The Jan. 15th game against Army (5:05 pm MT) will be broadcast on the Air Force hockey flagship station, Xtra Sports 1300. The change is due to NFL football being broadcast on Xtra Sports 1300 on Jan. 16.

Scouting the Black Knights
Army West Point is 5-10-5 overall and 3-8-5 and in ninth place in Atlantic Hockey. The Black Knights got one point last weekend in a home-and-home series against Sacred Heart. After a four-game unbeaten stretch in November-December, the Black Knights are 1-4-1 in the last six with three overtime losses. Sophomore forward Conor Andrle leads the team with 13 assists and 16 points. Four players are tied with five goals. Junior goalie Parker Gahagen has a .914 saves percentage and a 2.72 GAA.
Series vs. the Black Knights
Air Force leads the all-time series vs. Army, 36-20-5. Air Force is unbeaten in the last eight games vs. Army (6-0-2) dating back to 2011. In Atlantic Hockey games (since 2006-07), Air Force leads the series, 13-5-3. In games played at West Point, the series is tied at 13-13-2. Air Force has won three straight at Army. In games when there were four or more combined goals, AFA is 33-11-5. In games when less than four combined goals are scored, Air Force is 3-9. Since becoming the Falcons' coach in 1997, Serratore is 23-10-2 vs. the Black Knights.
