Air Force (7-6-3, 4-3-1 AHC) hosts the Niagara Purple Eagles (2-11-3, 2-6-2 AHC), Friday-Saturday, Dec. 9-10, at the Academy's Cadet Ice Arena. Friday's faceoff is at 7:05 pm MT while Saturday's game will start at 5:05 pm MT.
The Break is Ahead
Following the two games, the Falcons will take a 21-day break for finals and the holidays. The next series is Dec. 30-31 at Sacred Heart.

Scouting the Purple Eagles
Niagara is 2-11-3 overall and in 10th place in Atlantic Hockey with a 2-6-2 conference mark. The Purple Eagles started 0-7-2 before earning wins over Mercyhurst and Sacred Heart. Niagara is winless in its last four, including a pair of losses last week at home to first-place RIT, 7-1 and 6-2. Freshman Derek Brown leads the team with 10 points. Sophomore Johnny Curran leads the team with six goals. Senior Jackson Teichroeb has seen the most action between the pipes and has a 4.20 GAA and a .874 saves percentage.
