Air Force women's basketball opens the road slate against longtime rivals, University of Denver Pioneers, Sunday at 1 p.m. MT, in the Magness Arena, Denver, Colorado.

- Has an overall career record of 554-552 (.500) at the beginning of her 39th season.
- Is 12-79 after winning her first season-opener since taking the helm of Air Force.
Denver: Jim Turgeon (Washburn, '97)
-In his debut season in 2017-18, Jim Turgeon led the Pioneers to a 16-14 record, including a record of 7-7 in the Summit League. The Pioneers earned their first winning season since 2012. On the road the team went 8-5 and 7-6 at home.
-Under Turgeon, Denver averaged 70.6 points per game and averaged 8.5 3s made per game. The squad also averaged 40.9 rebounds per game and helped set an NCAA record for made 3s per game (36) with Western Illinois on Jan. 24.

So Far This Season…
Kaelin Immel registered 25 points in the season opener to tie her second-best career mark which was scored in last season's win over Mountain West foe San Jose State. The 2018 MW Freshman of the Year, who led Air Force in scoring last season, notched her seventh career 20+ point game in the win.
Air Force freshmen, led by Briana Autrey, combined for 32 points as the Falcons came up short against George Mason, who squeaked by, 78-71, Friday afternoon, in Clune Arena. Autrey led the team with 19 points, five assists and six steals.
Freshmen teammates Riley Snyder and Haley Jones were significant contributors in Friday's shootout. Snyder, who made her second start in as many appearances, shot lights-out from the arc, notching her second double-digit scoring performance with a 4-5 mark from deep. Jones, who concluded her collegiate debut with three points, more than tripled her first scoring performance, registering 10 points and a block. On the defensive side of the ball, Autrey led the team with six steals, a season-high for the Falcons.
