Air Force Brings in Fairleigh Dickinson for Friday Evening Game

Air Force women's basketball will tip off against Fairleigh Dickinson at 7 p.m., Friday night
Air Force vs. Fairleigh Dickinson: The Falcons host the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights, Friday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. MT. A live stream and live stats will be available for the game at GoAirForceFalcons.com.

- Led the 2017-18 team that yielded six new individual school records including the program's first-ever Mountain West Freshman of the Year in Kaelin Immel, who set four program-records highlighted by the most-ever points scored by an Air Force freshman in the Div. I era.
- Has an overall career record of 554-554 (.500) entering the fourth game of her 39th season.
- Is 12-81 since winning her first season-opener since taking the helm of Air Force.
Fairleigh Dickinson: Peter Cinella (Western New England College '90)
-Peter Cinella is entering his 11th season at the helm of the FDU women's basketball program. Cinella is 104-198 (.343) at FDU and 395-328 (.546) overall.
-Cinella guided the Knights to a third consecutive Northeast Conference Tournament appearance in 2016-17. Picked up his 100th win at FDU with a 59-58 win at St. Francis Brooklyn on January 28, 2017.

So Far This Season: Kaelin Immel leads the squad with 45 points. She had a season-high 25-point performance against Western Colorado, Nov. 6. The Beaverton, Oregon, native also leads the team with seven three-pointers for and a .538 3fg-percentage. Freshman standout Briana Autrey has the second-most points on the team with 35. She had a career-best 19-point performance against George Mason, Nov. 9. She also recorded a team-high six steals in the narrow loss to the Patriots.
Junior forward Kassady Huffman has proven to be a force for the Falcons. The 6-2 Colorado Springs, Colorado native, who missed all of last season, picked up right where she left off, landing the Falcons' first double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds against Denver in the road-opener. She leads the team with 28 rebounds and seven blocks. Sophomore teammate Emily Conroe has 27 points and 16 rebounds, 12 of which are defensive, displaying her hard work on both sides of the ball.
The freshman contribution is continuing to grow as three Falcon newcomers have logged over 50 minutes of playing time, led by Riley Snyder, who has started in all games this season. Snyder hit 4-5 from deep in the game against George Mason to score her career-best 12 points. She's had two double-digit scoring games this season. Freshman teammate Haley Jones is making her presence known on the court, scoring 18 points while bringing in 15 rebounds, the majority of which on the offensive side of the ball. Tanisha Elbourne, who made her collegiate debut against Denver, tallied seven points and four steals against the Pioneers in just 11 minutes.
A Look at the Knights: Through two games, the Knights lead the Northeast Conference in steals per game (14.0), turnover margin (+13) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.4) ... Freshman Makayla Thompson leads the league lead in steals per game (3.0) after recording six vs. Rutgers-Newark, the most by a Knight since 2016 ... The Knights are second in the league in scoring offense (77.0), scoring defense (57.0) and scoring margin (+20) along with blocked shots per game (5.0) and assists per game (14.5) ... Sophomore Madison Stanley is second in the NEC with 2.5 blocks per game ... Nationally, the Knights are ranked in the top 25 in the nation in turnover margin (15th, +13) and turnovers per game (18th, 10.5).
Six current Knights played in the last meeting between the teams, with Madelynn Comly and Lauren Francillon starting that game. Both players finished with five points, and Comly grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
Current Air Force assistant coach Erin Mills-Reid is a graduate of FDU (class of 2005). She was a team captain her senior season and led the Knights in assists that year, averaging 2.4 per game. She also played softball for FDU as a centerfielder and made the NEC Honor Roll in all eight semesters.
