The game against Long Beach State marks the first meeting between the teams while the game against the Titans will be the fifth meeting. Air Force leads Fullerton 3-1 in the all-time series.
LAST GAME
Air Force fell to Wyoming, 65-63, after a fourth quarter rally came up short by a bucket in the Mountain West Conference opener, Wednesday evening in Clune Arena. The Falcons, now 1-8 on the season, were led by Riley Snyder who dropped a game-high 20 points on the night. Wyoming improved to 4-3 on the season.
20-20 VISION
Riley Snyder has posted two-straight 20-point games, dropping game-high 20-point marks against No. 20 Tennessee and Wyoming. Kaelin Immel has the top-two Air Force scoring performances this season, posting a season-high 24 points at Navy and 23 points at Northern Colorado-- both marks were game-highs in their respective meetings.
IMMEL SETS THE STANDARD
Junior co-team captain Kaelin Immel has five-straight double-figure scoring marks and seven total on the season. She averages 14.6 PPG this year and has led the squad in scoring in three of the last five games. She is the seventh leading scorer in the MWC and also has the ninth-best FG% (.403) in the league.
CHASING 1,000
Immel continues to climb the all-time career points ladder with 979 points scored to date, a mark that puts her seventh in the Div. I era and tied for 16th in the all-time record book. Immel is on track to become the 16th all-time Falcon to achieve 1,000 career points. The last Falcon to achieve the feat was Cortney Porter in the 2017-18 campaign.
SNYDER SCORES
Sophomore forward Riley Snyder was the Falcons' leading scorer for the first five games of the season. Through said first five games, she averaged a career-high 14.0 PPG.
Following a four-point hiccup against Portland (Nov. 23), Snyder has since regained scoring traction, regaining her 14.0 PPG average while notching her seventh double-figure scoring mark of the season. Her performance against the abundantly tall Lady Vols garnered her Air Force Cadet Athlete of the Week honors. She rolled the momentum into the following game against Wyoming where she dropped another 20 in the conference opener.
Snyder makes her money at the free throw line where she is currently shooting .931 (27-29) this season, highlighted by seven perfect games at the line. She has the second-best free throw shooting-percentage in the MWC, second only to Nevada's Essence Booker (.941).
