- In each of the 50 meetings, neither team has hosted the other and all 50 games have been played at a neutral site.

Last Week in Review
- The Air Force Academy baseball went 2-2 this President's Day weekend to start off the 2019 season. The Falcons posted a pair of shutouts, defeating UL Monroe, 1-0, while cruising past Southern University, 13-0. The Falcons were defeated by both Army West Point, and No. 1 LSU. All games were played at LSU's Alex Box Stadium.
Double Goose Eggs
- With the pair of shutouts on opening weekend, the Falcons matched their shutout total from all of last season in just four games. Air Force is one of just six teams to have posted multiple shutouts so far this season, joining Tennessee, who has four, and San Diego, Penn State, UCLA, and Ohio State, who all have two.
Hargreaves Blanks the Warhawks
- Senior RHP Matt Hargreaves had a solid start to his final Falcon campaign, as he held the UL Monroe offense scoreless through his six innings of work in the 1-0 win, Feb. 16. It was just the second time in his career he has gone 6+ scoreless innings, the other being a complete game shutout of Tulane in 2017.
Hot Start for Colby Brown
- Senior 2B Colby Brown had the hottest start of any Falcon on opening weekend, as the infielder batted .455 with five hits, a double, three RBIs, and three walks. His OPS is a whopping 1.116. Brown also had the game-winning RBI in the 1-0 win over UL Monroe, as his run-scoring double in the fifth inning proves to be the difference.
Successful Debuts
- Air Force saw some promising starts from a few of its freshmen pitchers, as the group of Zach Argo, Brayden Dragoo, Stevan Fairburn Jr. and Nathan Price all had scoreless outings in their debuts down in Baton Rouge. Argo, Dragoo, and Fairburn all had one inning of runless ball, with Dragoo and Argo each striking out a pair. Meanwhile, Price went 3.2 scoreless against Southern to earn a win. He also had two Ks.
Active Career Leader
- With such a successful career to this point, it shouldn't come as much surprise that senior Nic Ready is among the NCAA active career leaders in multiple categories. The Texas is the active career leader in doubles, while ranking second among active players in home runs, RBIs, and total bases.
On the Horizon
- Air Force opens its 2019 Mountain West and home schedule when it hosts San Diego State for a weekend series, March 1-3. First pitch against the Aztecs from Falcon Field on Friday is set for 2 p.m. MT.
