No. 2-seeded Air Force women's gymnastics will begin action at 6 p.m. PT, in Brougham Pavilion, Seattle, Washington

The Falcons head to Seattle, Washington, to compete at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships with UC Davis, Sacramento State, Alaska-Anchorage and San Jose State at Seattle Pacific University. Action is slated to start at 6 p.m. PT/ 7 MT, on Saturday, March 23, at Brougham Pavilion on the campus of Seattle Pacific University.
A LOOK AT THE FIELD
UC DAVIS enters the MPSF Championship (Sat, Mar. 23--6 pm; at Seattle Pacific) as regular season champions and the top seed, holding a 195.215 team NQS...The Aggies lead the MPSF on vault, beam (49.075, No. 23 in the nation), and floor… UCD has placed second at the last three conference meets, and has surpassed 195 in the last four… UCD has a conference-high six MPSF titles (2015, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2008)…Kelley Hebert scored a 9.95 on floor and 9.90 on beam in the quad vs. Yale, Illinois, and No. 17 Washington (Mar. 15)…the 9.95 is tied for third all-time in the MPSF…Hebert is No. 2 in the MPSF NQS on floor, beam, and vault, and shares the No. 1 all-around (39.175)…Camille Johnson has the MPSF's top vault NQS (9.81).
AIR FORCE is seeded second…Anna Salamone is the defending MPSF Uneven Bars Champion (9.875)…The Falcons scored a third-place 194.975 on their home floor at last year's conference meet…Salamone leads the MPSF on bars with a 9.87 NQS… Mariana Murphy is tied for second in the MPSF on bars (9.79)…Tyler Davis shared the win on floor with a 9.875 along with a career-best 9.80 on vault at No. 12 Auburn (Mar. 15).
SAN JOSE STATE is seeded third as the back-to-back defending MPSF Champion, and has three titles overall ('18, '17, '04)…SJSU leads the MPSF on the uneven bars (NQS of 48.640)…Last year's squad set a school record and No. 2 MPSF Championship score of 195.975, in addition to an all-time MPSF balance beam record 49.275…Chelsey Andrada is the defending MPSF Vault Champion (9.875)…The Spartans are coming off a season-best 194.450 in a quad meet at No. 14 California, where Taylor Chan recorded her eighth all-around of 39 or better this year (39.200)…Chan shares the top MPSF NQS all-around of 39.175, and is No. 1 on the floor outright at 9.900, which also ranks in the nation's top-35.
ALASKA-ANCHORAGE is seeded fourth…The Seawolves won the MPSF team title in 2009…Sophia Hyderally leads the conference on the balance beam with a 9.860 NQS… UAA comes off a 192.250 in a quad at Michigan State, where Hyderally tied the fifth-best beam routine in team history (9.875).
SACRAMENTO STATE is the five seed…The Hornets own five MPSF titles (2016, 2014, 2005, 2003, 2002)…The 2016 Hornets hold the MPSF Championship record score of 196.300, achieved on their home floor...Jordyn Brent is third in the MPSF all-around and shares second on bars (9.79).
SEATTLE PACIFIC hosts the MPSF Championship for the fourth time in Brougham Pavilion (2013, 2010, 2007), and is the six seed…The '07 SPU squad defended its title on its home floor…Darian Burns ranks fourth in the MPSF on floor (9.840 NQS) and bars (9.775 NQS, tie).
FIVE FALCONS EARN ALL-MPSF
Air Force saw five gymnasts added to the All-MPSF teams, nine times, announced by the conference office this afternoon. Tyler Davis earned three-slots between the first and second team, teammates Anna Salamone and Mariana Murphy earned two spots apiece, and teammates Heidi Sand and Cam Barber earned the honor once each.

The Falcons will prepare for the NCAA post-season and USAG Collegiate Nationals. USAG Nationals will be held in Bridgeport, Connecticut, April 12-14.
LAST WEEK
Air Force combined for a 193.274 team score on Hometown Heroes Night, finishing behind the No. 12 Auburn Tigers (196.825), in dual meet action, Friday evening (Mar. 15), at Auburn Arena. Tyler Davis, a USAG All-American in 2018, led Air Force in two events, posting personal season-high marks in the vault (9.800) and floor exercise (9.875). Davis finished tied for first on the floor exercise.
