Air Force hits the road to take on the Utah State Aggies, Wednesday (Jan. 8) at 7 p.m. in Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, Logan, Utah.
THE SERIES
Air Force and Utah State will be meeting for the 16th time. The Aggies lead the all-time series, 11-4.

Air Force came up short of a fourth-quarter rally, falling to Utah State, 64-55, at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, Logan Utah (February 16).
Emily Conroe led the Falcons with a game-high 19 points and nine rebounds. Conroe shot 75.0 percent from deep (3-4) and 58.3 percent from the field.
Kaelin Immel added 13 points to the final tally and also added three rebounds and two assists to her stat line.
Briana Autrey-Thompson, Haley Jones and Riley Snyder combined for 20 points. Teammate Coco Kuchins added a career-high six rebounds, bringing the then-freshmen rebounding total to 18 on the night. Jones, a six-foot guard, scored nine points and collected four rebounds while Snyder, a six-foot forward, tallied eight points and six rebounds. The Falcons out-rebounded Utah State, 38-32.

Air Force came up short of a comeback against Mountain West Conference foe UNLV, falling to the Lady Rebels, 67-60, Saturday afternoon (Jan. 4) in Clune Arena. The Falcons dropped to 3-11 on the season with a 1-2 mark in the league while UNLV improved to 6-8 overall with a 2-1 record in conference play.
Sophomore guard Haley Jones led the Falcons with a career-high 17 points on the night. The native of Torrance, California, also snagged six rebounds and a game-high four steals on the day. The scoring performance marked Jones' third double-figure game this season.
Junior teammate Emily Conroe posted her sixth double-figure scoring performance with 10 points while adding six rebounds and three steals to her stat line. Freshman teammate Allyah Marlett collected a team-high nine rebounds while adding four points and a steal to her stat line.
Air Force scoring leaders Kaelin Immel, Riley Snyder and Briana Autrey-Thompson were uncharacteristically off the mark, combining for 32 field goal attempts in which they collectively knocked down four, for a 13-percent field goal accuracy between the three.
UNLV's Leticia Smith led the Lady Rebels with 20 points, three assists, three steals and three boards. Smith shot 77-percent from the field on the game. Teammate Rodjanae Wade dropped 14 points and collected a game high 12 rebounds for the only double-double performance of the day.
SNAGGIN' BOARDS
Air Force leads the MWC in offensive rebounds per game (16.79). Emily Conroe is the eighth-leading overall rebounder in the MWC (6.79 RPG) and 10th leading defensive rebounder (4.00 DRPG), while Jones is ninth in overall rebounds (6.57 RPG) and third in offensive rebounds (3.57 ORPG). Conroe leads Air Force with four 10+ rebound performances this season.
Along with being some of the top rebounders in the MWC, Jones is fifth in the league in steals with 29 (2.07 SPG) and eighth in the MWC with 11 blocks.
