THE SERIES AGAINST COLORADO
Air Force is winless in the five-game series with the Buffs, dropping three contests on the road and a pair at home.
LAST TIME AGAINST CU
Air Force dropped a 68-43 contest to Colorado (Dec. 15, 2017) at Clune Arena. Then-freshman Kaelin Immel led the Falcons with 16 points.
Air Force hung tough with Colorado for two and half quarters. The Falcons were down just two to the Buffaloes at 38-36 with 5:08 to play in the third quarter. Colorado closed the third quarter on a 17-0 run to go up 55-36 and eventually rolled to the win.
Kennedy Leonard scored 17 and Annika Jank added 16 points to lead CU. The Buffs dominated the boards with their significant height advantage, 47-26.
UP NEXT
The Falcons return home to host Nebraska Omaha at 5 p.m. MT, Tuesday, December 1. The game will mark the seventh meeting between the teams with the series tied at three apiece.

The Falcons fell to the University of Denver, 72-56, in the 2020-2021 season opener, Wednesday evening (Nov. 25) in Clune Arena at the Academy. Air Force Point guard Briana Autrey-Thompson led the Falcons with a 25-point showing, marking a career-high performance for the junior out of Suffolk, Virginia.
Air Force shot 31-percent from the floor on the night, struggling to get the three-ball to fall as the team shot just 9-percent from deep (2-22). Autrey-Thompson, who played a game-high 31 minutes, bolstered the field goal percentages knocking down 50-percent from the field (8-16) with one three-pointer. Autrey-Thompson added three assists and a game-high four steals to her stat line while also hitting a game-high eight free throws.
