Air Force Takes on New Mexico in Road Finale

AIr Force women's basketball tips off against the Lobos at 7 p.m. MT in The Pit

THE SERIES
Air Force and New Mexico will be meeting for the 46th time in program history. The Lobos lead the all-time series, 43-2.
-Air Force's only wins against New Mexico both occurred at USAFA (1992, 2012)

Air Force dropped a 75-53 Mountain West contest to the University of New Mexico, January 11th, in Clune Arena.
Junior co-team captain Kaelin Immel paced Air Force with 17 points and six rebounds. Freshman teammate Nikki McDonald was the second-leading scorer for the Falcons, tying her career-best nine points while also six rebounds to her stat line. McDonald ignited the Air Force offense with a pair of three-pointers on the day, shooting a team-high 60-percent from the field on the day.
Emily Conroe, the Falcons' leader in double-doubles this season, came up just short of another, scoring eight points and collecting eight rebounds on the day. Freshman teammate Allyah Marlett picked up a game-high nine rebounds for Air Force.
Sophomore point guard Briana Autrey-Thompson dished out a team-high five assists while also scoring six points and snagging six boards. Haley Jones dropped five points, grabbed five rebounds picked off three steals. Sophomore teammate Riley Snyder contributed with three steals a bucket and an assist on the day.
The Lobos had five players with double-figure scoring marks, led by Ahlise Hurst's and Jordan Hosey's 13 points apiece. New Mexico's significant contributor was Jayla Everett who notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists.

Air Force fell to the Wyoming Cowgirls, 68-52, Saturday afternoon in Arena-Auditorium. The Falcons head to their road-game finale with a 7-20 overall record and a 5-11 mark in the league while Wyoming improves to 10-6 in conference and 14-11 overall.
Sophomore point-guard Briana Autrey-Thompson led Falcons with 13 points and four assists. She knocked down 5-16 attempts from the floor and was perfect from the free throw line (3-3). Sophomore teammate Cierra Winters scored 10 points for the second time this season, hitting four of her seven attempts from the field. Emily Conroe led the rebounding effort with sox boards on the game.
Wyoming was led by Quinn Weidemann with 24 points. Teammates Alba Sanchez-Ramos and Jaeden Vaifanua dropped 12 points apiece, with Vaifanua recording a double-double with 10 rebounds.
